Your privacy is important to Everything and its affiliated companies ("we," "us," "our"). The following Privacy Policy discloses the practices we follow regarding your personal information we gather through this website and through other means, the way we use the information internally, and our policy regarding sharing information with others.

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On this Site.
  • In verbal interactions between you and our personnel.
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Site.
  • Through mobile and desktop applications.
  • When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.

It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

When you request information about or apply for solar panel systems or solar panel system financing, we collect information about you, including Personal Information. "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household, or as defined by applicable law.

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Site, including:

  • Personal Information: Information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline.
  • Proof of identity: Social Security Number (possibly limited to the last four digits), National Identity Number, Driver's License number/document, Passport number or document.
  • Financial details: Your credit score and history; account balances and payment history; credit card or bank account information; income and tax information; residence type, individual and household annual income, current mortgage details.
  • Household Energy Usage Information: Information regarding your household solar system when you purchase a system from us or from one of our distributors.
  • Your product purchase history.
  • Non-Personally Identifying Information: Information that is about you but alone does not individually identify you.
  • Connection Information: Information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Site, and usage details.

Information You Provide to Us

The information we collect on or through the Site may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on the Site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the Site, subscribing to our service, requesting a quote, or requesting further information or services.
  • Application: If you submit an application to finance a solar product from us or finance a product through an independent entity, we will collect Personal Information from you, such as your contact information, proof of identity, financial details, employment details, and energy usage.
  • Online account: If you sign up or use an Everything application or service, we collect the Personal Information you provide to create a profile, account, collect payment, or to receive information about the performance of your system.
  • Payments: If you make a payment to us, either directly or through one of our approved service providers, we collect information necessary to process the transaction and validate your identity.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) if you contact us.
  • Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the Site and of the fulfillment of your orders.
  • Your search queries on the Site.

Information We Collect from Third Parties

Throughout the course of our relationship with you, we may receive Personal Information from third parties in order to provide you information about our solar financing products, process your application for a financing product, or to otherwise manage your account with us.

  • Third Parties with whom we have a relationship: We may receive your Personal Information from third parties with whom we have a relationship, including our authorized independent dealers, home builders, and other service providers.
  • Third Parties whom you authorize: Third parties from which we may receive Personal Information may include our escrow agents, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, your energy company/provider, or individuals authorized to act on your behalf.
  • Financial institutions and consumer reporting agencies: In accordance with applicable law, we may receive your Personal Information from third-party financial institutions and credit reporting agencies who assist us in processing your Personal Information.
  • Co-applicants: We may also collect your Personal Information from co-applicants or co-owners of a dwelling associated with your installation.

Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with the Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to the Site, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies): A small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser.

Google Gmail & Calendar Integration

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance: Everything's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect your Google account to our application, we request access to your Gmail and Google Calendar data to provide email management and scheduling functionality within our CRM platform. This section explains exactly what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it in compliance with Google's policies.

Data We Access

When you authorize our application, we request the following permissions:

Gmail Permissions:

  • Read emails: View your email messages and metadata
  • Send emails: Send emails on your behalf
  • Manage labels: Create, modify, and organize email labels
  • Manage drafts: Create, update, and delete draft emails
  • Modify emails: Archive, star, mark as read/unread, and delete emails

Google Calendar Permissions:

  • View calendar events: See events on your calendars
  • Create events: Add new events to your calendars
  • Modify events: Update or delete existing events
  • Access calendar list: See which calendars you have

Profile Information:

  • Email address: For account identification
  • Basic profile: Your name for display purposes

How We Use Your Google Data

Your Google data is used exclusively to provide these user-facing features within our CRM:

Gmail Features:

  • Display your inbox and email threads within our application interface
  • Compose and send emails to your customers and contacts
  • Reply to and forward emails directly from our platform
  • Organize emails using labels, archive, and star functionality
  • Link email conversations to customer records and jobs for context
  • Search your emails to find relevant communications

Google Calendar Features:

  • Display your calendar events within our application
  • Schedule appointments and meetings with customers
  • Create calendar events linked to jobs and projects
  • Manage your schedule directly from our CRM interface

Limited Use Requirements

In accordance with Google's Limited Use requirements, we confirm that:

  • Limited to stated purposes: We only use Gmail and Calendar data to provide and improve the user-facing features described above that are visible and prominent in our application.
  • No advertising: We do NOT use your Google data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
  • No selling of data: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your Google data to any third party.
  • No data brokers: We do NOT transfer Google data to data brokers or information resellers.
  • No credit decisions: We do NOT use Google data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • No unauthorized profiling: We do NOT use Google data to build user profiles for purposes unrelated to our CRM functionality.

Data Storage & Security

  • No content storage: We do NOT permanently store the content of your emails or calendar events. Data is fetched in real-time from Google's servers and displayed within our interface.
  • Encrypted credentials: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption before storage.
  • Secure transmission: All communication with Google's APIs and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Access controls: Only authenticated users can access their own connected Google accounts.
  • No cached copies: We do not create permanent copies or databases of your email or calendar content.

Human Access to Data

Access to your Google data by our personnel is strictly limited:

  • We do NOT read your emails or calendar events unless you explicitly request support assistance and grant permission.
  • Human access may occur only for security purposes (investigating potential abuse), to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit affirmative consent.
  • Any human access is logged and audited.

Data Retention & Deletion

  • OAuth credentials are retained only while your Google account remains connected to our application.
  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your account settings.
  • Upon disconnection, all stored tokens and Google-related credentials are immediately and permanently deleted.
  • We do not retain copies of your email or calendar content after it is displayed to you.

Your Control & Rights

  • You can revoke our access at any time through your Google Account permissions settings.
  • You can disconnect Google integration from within our application settings.
  • Upon revocation or disconnection, we immediately lose access to your Gmail and Calendar data and delete stored credentials.
  • You may request information about what data we have accessed by contacting us.

Third-Party Sharing

WE DO NOT SELL, SHARE, OR TRANSFER YOUR GOOGLE DATA (GMAIL OR CALENDAR) TO ANY THIRD PARTIES except as necessary to provide our service (e.g., secure cloud infrastructure providers who are contractually bound to protect your data) or as required by law.

SMS/Text Messaging Communications

TCPA Compliance Notice: By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from Everything regarding your solar installation project. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Types of SMS Messages We Send

We send transactional and service-related SMS notifications to customers, build partners, and internal staff regarding active solar installation projects. These messages include:

  • Appointment Scheduling: Notifications about scheduled site surveys, installations, and service appointments
  • Appointment Reminders: Reminders for upcoming scheduled appointments
  • Installation Status Updates: Progress updates on your solar installation project
  • Site Approval Notifications: Alerts when site approvals or permits are received
  • Documentation Requests: Requests for required documents or signatures
  • System Activation Notices: Notifications when your solar system is activated
  • Operational Coordination: Coordination messages between installers, partners, and staff

How We Obtain Your Consent

We obtain consent for SMS communications through the following methods:

  • Customers and Build Partners: Consent is provided through signed service agreements executed via HelloSign (our integrated e-signature platform). At the time of contract signing, you provide your phone number and are clearly informed that it will be used for project-related SMS communications.
  • Sales Representatives and Internal Staff: Consent is provided as part of employee onboarding agreements, where staff explicitly agree to receive operational and project-related messages via SMS.

Consent Disclosure

At the time of consent, you are informed of the following:

  • The purpose of SMS messaging (project updates, scheduling, operational coordination)
  • How to opt out of SMS communications (reply STOP)
  • That message and data rates may apply
  • The types of messages you will receive

Opting Out of SMS Communications

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP: Simply reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us
  • Contact Support: Email us at [email protected] to request removal from SMS communications

Once you opt out, your request is automatically honored and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe or provide renewed consent. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive important communications via email or phone.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your project activity and status. Messages are sent only when relevant to your active solar installation project. We do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS—all communications are transactional and operational in nature.

No Third-Party Contact Lists

WE DO NOT USE PURCHASED, RENTED, OR THIRD-PARTY CONTACT LISTS. All SMS recipients have a direct business relationship with our company and have provided consent through our official agreements.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving SMS messages. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To recommend solar products and financing options/products for you and send finance loan agreements.
  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
  • To present the Site and its contents to you.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • Create and maintain your account.
  • To provide you with notices about your account, including expiration and renewal notices.
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
  • To notify you about changes to the Site or any products or services we offer.
  • For any other purpose with your consent.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To contractors, dealers, installers, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
  • To financial institutions who finance the leases and other forms of financing.
  • To credit reporting agencies (regarding late payments, missed payments or other defaults on your account).
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.
  • To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have consented to these disclosures.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • To government and law enforcement officials to enforce our rights or respond to legal requests.

  • Deletion Request Rights: You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Personal Information Sales Opt-Out Rights: You have the right to opt out of the sale of your Personal Information. We DO NOT SELL PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights under CCPA or applicable law.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 18 years of age. Our Site, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated.
